  • Yahoo! can make a real impact on human rights
    Urge Yahoo! to act further to prevent human rights violations, such as the arrest and detention of journalist Shi Tao, from re-occuring.


  • Overturn death sentence of Soghra Najafpour
    Soghra Najafpour has been sentenced to death for a murder that took place when she was thirteen. Call on the Iranian authorities to overturn her death sentence and to end the use of the death penalty for those convicted of crimes under the age of eighteen.


  • Ye Guozhu must be released immediately
    Chinese housing rights activists, Ye Guozhu, who was due for release on July 26 is being kept in prison until after the Olympic Games. Call on the Chinese authorities for his immediate release.


  • Death penalty must be abolished
    The Indonesian government has resumed executions at an alarming rate, going against the United Nations global moratorium on executions. Call on the Australian Government to use its strong relationship with Indonesia to encourage them to suspend all executions and take steps to abolish the death penalty altogether.


  • Comfort Women: Waiting for justice after 62 years
    The Government of the Philipines is considering joining countries such as the US, Netherlands, Canada and European Parliament, in passing a resolution calling on the the Japanese government to accept responsibility and apologise for the human rights violations committed against 'comfort women' who were forced into a system of military sexual slavery during WWII. Show your support for the Philippines to be the next country to pass a resolution calling for Justice for the Comfort Women.


  • Free Shi Tao
    On 20 April 2004, while working for the Dangdai Shangbao (Contemporary Trade News) in Hunan Province, Shi Tao attended a meeting about a Central Propaganda Department communique. Seven months later he was in detention for illegally providing state secrets to foreign entities. Call on the Chinese authorities to immediately and unconditionally release him.


  • Indian Government must clean up Bhopal
    More than 7,000 people died within a matter of days when toxic gases leaked from a chemical plant in Bhopal, India, in December 1984. Since then, exposure to the toxins has resulted in the deaths of a further 16,000 people, as well as chronic and debilitating illnesses for thousands of others. Call on the Indian Government to take immediate action to remedy the situation.


  • Microsoft must allow online freedom in China
    Microsoft has been cooperated with Chinese government requests which has resulted in internet censorship. Call on Microsoft to end violating the freedom of expression and information of Chinese citizens.


  • Repatriation for Omar Khadr
    Omar Khadr has been detained in Guantanamo Bay for six years since the age of 15. His status as a minor has not been recognised and his treatment has violated international human rights standards. Call on the Canadian Government to seek Omar Khadr's repatriation.


  • Google ? ?don?t do evil?
    Google is continuing to cooperate with Chinese authorities to censor the internet from material deemed ?sensitive? by the Chinese Government. In doing so, Google is complicit in violating the fundamental human rights to freedom of expression and information of Chinese citizens.
