Reporting directly from southern Israel, Amnesty International researcher Donatella Rovera will answer questions this Monday January 12th at 12pm EST on the Gaza crisis.

With the crisis escalating and the death toll rising, Amnesty International sent the research team into southern Israel to try to enter Gaza, monitor the crisis from the ground and conduct first hand interviews with affected individuals.

Despite new developments every day, Amnesty International continues to demand:

  • All parties to the conflict--ie Israel and Palestinian armed groups such as Hamas--should cease attacks on civilians.
  • The humanitarian crisis in Gaza should be ameliorated. A three hour daily truce is not enough.
  • The US should cease military transfers to Israel and should investigate if any US weapons were used in attacks against civilians.
  • The US should condemn all sides with equal vigor--including Israel for its vastly disproportionate response.

Join Donatella Rovera Monday to ask and get answers to questions about the crisis, what Amnesty is planning and how you can help.
